Timed-Based Scoring Program for Clubs

I am please to announce that the new version of our timed-based scoring program is ready to use for all matches.  MatchPro II contains a number of features and advantages over anything we have used before for scoring matches based on time.  The program is very flexible and is easily modified for any match use that tracks time rather than points.

Some of the features are:

·         Unlimited number of matches may be created, each with their own name and characteristics.

·         Matches can be run in either Standard mode or Normalized Mode which calculates the best score on the stage to 100 points and other scores as a percentage.

·         Up to 12 Stages may be assigned to each match

·         Matches can be saved and re-loaded for either lookup or to transmit for posting.

·         Unlimited number of Shooter Types can be assigned, such as Members, Non-Members, MD, RO, etc.  Each type can have its own match fee assigned.

·         Gender, Age Groups and Categories can be assigned as desired.

·         Unlimited number of Classes and Divisions can be assigned.  Sorting is supported so that reports are presented in the correct order.

·         Scoring is quick with several quick data entry features such as one-button DQ and shooter number search.

Some of the reports included are:

·         Missing Scoresheets Report lists all missing scores as well as shooter numbers for cards that were never turned in and registered.

·         Competitor Lists by Name and Number, including demographics on numbers of Divisions and Classes in the match.

·         Overall, Division, Class, and Stage Reports.  All reports show shooters performance percentages and the Stage Report contains raw data on all runs and penalties.  It also identifies Top 10 shooters for each stage by Division.

·         Combine Reports will select all reports with one button.

·         Match Settlement report which provides details on the match fees, number of shooters, and breakdowns by all categories to help with match financial procedures.

·         Any report can be printed or saved to a PDF file.  All reports have footers identifying the range and match web links.

Additional Features:

• MatchPro II includes the run-time engine so it no longer needs Microsoft Office Professional 2003 to run.
• Supported on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 systems.
• A single configuration file contains all setup and match info and is easily transmitted to alternate users.
• MatchPro II was designed by Pete Carstensen and developed by Chris Johnson.  This program was inspired by MatchPro which was designed by Pete Carstensen and developed by Richard Koskela in 2004.  Polle Blanton and Richard Bhella helped with providing excellent suggestions and testing.
